# Data attribution

Country data: mledoze/countries contributors, ODbL 1.0. The source database is distributed unmodified at /data/countries.json. See countries-ODbL.txt. Country names and capital listings displayed by InstaTool are produced works from that database.

Word lists: wordfreq 3.1.1 by **Robyn Speer**, data under CC BY-SA 4.0. Exported word lists are adaptations under the same license, downloadable at /data/words-en.json (and fr, it, es, de). Changes: NFC normalization, Latin alphabetic words of 2–15 letters, selection from the top 100,000 tokens, deduplication and grouping by length. These are general corpus word lists, not licensed game dictionaries. See wordfreq-NOTICE.md for all upstream credits, including SUBTLEX (Marc Brysbaert et al.; freely available), OpenSubtitles, Wikipedia and Google Books Ngrams.

Time zones: IANA tzdata 2026d. See iana.txt.
