Password generator
Generate a new random password in your browser with your chosen length and characters.
How it works
Password generator
Passwords use the browser’s cryptographic random source, with no server request. Choose which character groups your destination accepts.
How to use this tool
- Choose a length from 8 to 128 and the character groups allowed by the destination service. Press Generate to create a new password.
- Copy it into your password manager or destination field. Clear removes the displayed value; changing options clears a stale result.
Understanding the result
The browser's cryptographic random source generates characters with rejection sampling. Every selected group appears at least once; passwords are not uploaded or stored by InstaTool.
Worked examples
20 · A–Z · a–z · 0–9 · !@#
32 · A–Z · a–z · 0–9
8–128
Good to know
InstaTool does not save passwords. Store the result safely; clipboard handling belongs to your device.
The password remains visible in this tab until cleared or you leave. Clipboard copies are managed by your device and may be synced by it. Use a different password for each account and store it safely.
A few quick answers
Can InstaTool recover a password I generated here?
No. We do not save it. Save it in your own password manager before closing the page; do not use the examples as passwords.
